Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry at Holy Redeemer COGIC
Serving Milwaukee with Compassion
In partnership with Feeding America, Holy Redeemer Church of God in Christ launched the Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry to help meet the urgent needs of families facing food insecurity in Milwaukee. Since its inception, the pantry has grown into a vital hub of nourishment and hope for the community.
Each month, the pantry provides food assistance to an average of 400–600 families, and during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, we are blessed to serve over 1,000 households with full holiday meal kits—ensuring that families can gather with dignity and joy around the table.
According to recent U.S. Census data and local health reports, many families in our surrounding neighborhoods live below 185% of the federal poverty line, underscoring the critical importance of consistent food support.
The pantry is open to the public on:
Wednesdays from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Sundays from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Holy Redeemer Campus (3500 W. Mother Daniels Way, Milwaukee, WI)
Guests are welcome to shop free of charge for a wide variety of fresh produce, pantry staples, and essential groceries in a dignified, welcoming environment.
We can’t do this work alone. Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, or help spread the word, your support makes a direct impact in the fight to end hunger in Milwaukee.
